Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Lami ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service. These Terms apply to all users of our mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service").

Description of Service

Lami is an AI-powered music lesson management platform that helps music teachers manage lessons, track student progress, generate lesson summaries, and sync lesson schedules with their calendar. Features include:

• AI-generated lesson notes and summaries
• Homework and assignment management
• Student progress tracking
• Google Calendar integration for syncing lesson schedules
• Music score management
• Audio and video lesson analysis

Accounts

To use Lami, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Providing accurate and up-to-date account information
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.

Google Account Integration

Lami offers optional integration with your Google account to sync lesson schedules with Google Calendar. When you connect your Google account:

• We access only the Google Calendar data necessary to create and manage lesson events on your behalf
• We do not store your Google credentials
• We do not share your Google account data with third parties
• You can disconnect your Google account at any time from the app settings

Use of Google Calendar integration is subject to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy in addition to these Terms.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Upload content that infringes on any third party's intellectual property rights
• Transmit harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose not expressly permitted by us
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service

Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you upload to the Service, including audio recordings, lesson notes, and student information ("Your Content"). By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

You are responsible for ensuring that Your Content does not violate any applicable laws or third-party rights, including privacy rights of your students. If your students are minors, you are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from their parents or guardians.

Subscription and Payments

Certain features of the Service require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to:

• Pay all applicable fees as described in the app at the time of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• Fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as explicitly stated in our refund policy
• We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable notice

Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store are subject to those platforms' respective terms and refund policies.

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding Your Content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Lami and its licensors. Our trademarks, logo, and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• AI-generated content (lesson summaries, notes, ideas) will be accurate or complete
• Any errors in the Service will be corrected

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lami shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of business opportunities, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may also delete your account at any time from the app settings.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
